HOW TO CHANGE VOICE

1.   Am/is/are/was/were         - Being 
2.   Have/Has/Had                 - Been
3.  Shall/will                           - Be
4. Verb(Present form)        -  is/are
5. Verb(Past form)               - was/were

                                                          CHANGES IN PRONOUNS

                                                        

    I      - me  , He   - him,  She  - her , We  -us ,They  -them

  You  -you , It  - it  , Ram  - Ram ( Here Ram means any name)

          

Structure: Object+(be verb/have verb)+3rd form of Main Verb+by+Subject

   Rule 1.      I am reading a book.-A book is being  read

                                 by me.
                                    
 He was writing a letter.-A letter was written by him.

   Now try yourself :  He is writing a poem. You are doing a work.She was making a kite.
   He is watering the plants.She is singing a song.She is selling flowers. Ram was reading history.

  Rule 2. I have seen a tiger. --A tiger has been seen by me,

She had made a mistake.---A mistake had been made by her.

  Now try yourself :    I have done the sum.I have taken tea.She has bought a mobile. Sita had seen the Tajmahal. Lila had stolen it. We have bought a house. Riya has bought a dog. She has done the homework. I had seen the moon. She has sold a pen.He has got a lottery. I had done my duty. You has spread the  rumour.

    Rule 3.  I shall do it.----It will be done by me.

                    We shall buy a gift.----A gift will be bought by us.

Now try yourself :   I shall buy a pen. We shall cut the tree.  They will publish a book.  Riya will read a book.  You will bring it.  She will water the plant. She will sell flowers.

        Rule 4.   She helps him.----He is helped by her.

                             He tells the truth.----The truth is told by him.

Now try yourself : They tell the story.  Boys like sports.  He teaches the students.  Our teacher speaks English.The dog bites everybody.  We see a plane.  He does it.  The cat kills the rat.

Rule 5 . She forgot the story.--The story was forgotten by 
                    her.

                      You told a lie.----A lie was told by you.

Now try yourself :  They told the story. You did it.  The hunter shot the doll. I forgot the story.  

The tiger killed the tiger. You spread the news. The child broke the doll.  Grandmother told a story.

He phoned me. I told you. She saw a snake. She made a mistake.

Voice Change with Let  

(order,advise,request type sentence)

                          ( Sentence will start with verb)

Structure: Let+Object+be+3rd form of verb

  Do it.---Let it be done. 

  Open the door.---Let the door be opened.

Now try yourself :  Read this. Write a letter.  Open the window. Tell him. Obey the order.  

  Take it. Leave it. Take an example. Ask him. Change the voice. Break this stick. Fetch a glass       of water.

**If a sentence starts with Please ,you have to start the sentence You are requested and the remaining sentence will be added with to.

                                What will be changed

  Please -----You are requested 

  Do not -----not to 

 Please help me .---You are requested to help me.

Now try yourself :  Please do it. Please help the poor. Please open the door.Please dont disturb.

Please keep off the grass. Please give a glass of water.
