Imperative Sentence Passive Voice: Rules, Examples & Exercise

Rule : Let + Object + be + Past Participle (V3)

1. Shut the windows. Ans: Let the windows be shut.
2. Write the report.
3. Read the book.
4. Take this medicine.
5. Keep the door closed.
6. Allow her to enter.
7. Consider the possibilities.
8. Paint the entire room.
9. Allow the guests.
10. Please clean the kitchen.
11. Let me do it.
12.  Let us follow rules.
13. Let us discuss the matter.
14. Respect the seniors.
15. Pass the mobile phone.
16. Do not close the door.
17. Ans:  Let the door not be closed.
18. Don’t make a noise.
19. Do not pluck flowers.
20. Do not waste time.
21.  Don’t open the door.

If the verb is intransitive, the below rules are applicable.

যদি ভাবটি intransitive  হয় এবং ওই বাক্যে আদেশ উপদেশ অনুরোধ করা বোঝাই ও ওই বাক্যে যদি কোন অবজেক্ট না থাকে-- তাহলে শুধুমাত্র 

You are told to …………..(Positive Sentence  এর ক্ষেত্রে)

Example:

Active: Come in.

Passive: You are told to come in.

Active: Go to bed.

Passive: You are ordered to go to bed.

For Negative Sentences

You are told not to …………..

Example:

Active: Don’t talk.

Passive: You are told not to talk.
