The higher education minister of Odisha suggested scheduling the exams with at least a gap of one day to allow the exam centres to be sanitised properly.
Pointing that student’s performance in the final-year exams is a “reflection of competence of the students”, the Supreme Court directed last week that states and universities cannot promote final-year students without holding a terminal examination.
