                 Appropriate Prepositions 






Access to – right for entry (প্রবেশাধিকার) (All the students have an easy access to the class of this teacher.)

Ambition for – high ambition (উচ্চাকাঙ্ক্ষা) (The man has no ambition for fame.)

Absence from – absence (অনুপস্থিতি) (His absence from the meeting astonished us.)

True to – faithful (বিশ্বস্ত) (The servant is true to his master.)

Tell upon – affect (ক্ষতি করা) (Overeating tells upon health.)

Disappointed at – despair (হতাশ) (The boy was disappointed at his failure.)

Restore to – return (ফিরিয়ে দেওয়া) (The king promised to restore his property to him.)

Proud of – (গর্বিত) (The man is proud of his position.)

Worthy of – যোগ্য (You are worthy of praise.)
