A VISIT TO A PLACE OF INTEREST/HISTORICAL PLACE

On the evening of Monday we started for the station. It was 20^th January of last year. We booked ticket for Murshidabad-a place of interest. We availed ourselves of the Shatabdi Express from Bankura.I saw stations,towns,villages and green fields on both sides of the railway line.I saw these in the starry night. Next morning the train touched Murshidaad Station. I was in the company of my parents. After breakfast we set out to see Hazarduari.It is a beautiful building with many real and false doors. The building is a museum to show the things of the Nawab’s time.Next we went to Motijhil-a big tank.We crossed the Bhagirathi to see Siraj’s tomb at Khusbagh.We saw many things in ruins.At night we started for Bankura.The memory of this visit wiil remain vivid in my mind.
