JOINING OF SENTENCES USING PRESENT PARTICIPLE(VERB+ING)

 যদি দুটি কাজ অতীতে ঘটে ও একটি কাজের উপর অপর কাজটি নির্ভরশীল হয় তাহলে প্রথম কাজের verb এর সাথে ing যোগ করতে হয়। যদি বাক্যের মধ্যে be verb থাকে তাহলে Being হয়।

1. 1. He completed his work. He took rest.
   2. I saw a snake. I ran away.
   3. Father snatched the letter away from Swami. He tore it up. 
   4. We pasted gold tinsel stars all over the kite. We had written our names full on it. 
   5. Their mother saw the kite. She turned pale.
   6. She was ill. She could not go to school.
   7. He hurt his leg. He stopped walking.
   8. He was tired. He sat down to rest.
   9. The hungry fox saw a bunch of grapes. It was hanging from a vine.
   10. The hunter took up his gun. He went out to shoot the lion.
   11. Nanak met his brother in the street. He asked him where he was going
   12. He was disheartened. He gave up.
   13. They travelled the whole day. They felt very tired.
   14. I found the door open. I went inside.
